An independent Brazilian law practice offering personal attention on civil, contract and corporate matters. We take the time to understand each client's situation before recommending a course of action.
Iandara Alves Sociedade Individual de Advocacia was established in Brasília in January 2024 as an independent legal practice serving individuals and small businesses across the Federal District.
The practice is organized as a Sociedade Unipessoal de Advocacia under Brazilian law, which means clients work directly with the attorney responsible for their case from first meeting to final resolution. There is no handoff to junior associates and no impersonal case queue.
Our focus is on doing a small number of things well: reading each matter carefully, communicating clearly, and moving through the necessary steps with steady, deliberate work rather than promises of shortcuts.
Every case handled by the responsible attorney — from initial review through resolution.
Everyday legal questions involving family, consumer relations, real estate transactions and general civil disputes. We review the situation, explain the options in plain language and act as required.
Review, drafting and negotiation of contracts for individuals and small businesses — service agreements, lease contracts, partnership documents and commercial arrangements.
Legal support for entrepreneurs and small companies: entity formation, ongoing corporate housekeeping, commercial disputes and day-to-day advisory work for growing operations.
Representation in disputes involving purchases, services and consumer protection matters. We assess the situation, engage the counterparty and pursue the appropriate remedies.
Reviewing arrangements before they become disputes: reading contracts before signing, checking obligations before renewing, and helping small businesses avoid predictable legal problems.
A structured review of matters already being handled elsewhere, when a client wants an additional perspective on strategy, documents or the state of an ongoing case.
We read the matter carefully before quoting fees or recommending steps. No obligation to proceed.
Written engagement letter setting out what is included, what is not, and how fees are calculated.
Clients speak with the attorney responsible for the case. No layers to reach the person doing the work.
Status updates at agreed intervals — and immediately when a decision from the client is required.
The initial meeting was thorough and unhurried. Every question I had was answered in language I could actually follow, and the engagement letter matched exactly what we had discussed.
— C. R., BrasíliaI appreciated the honesty. Rather than promising a specific outcome, the practice explained the realistic range of possibilities and what each path would involve. That made the decision much easier.
— M. F., Águas ClarasContract review was returned on the schedule agreed, with clear notes on each clause that needed attention. Follow-up questions were answered the same day.
— L. S., Federal DistrictFor a small business owner without in-house counsel, having a single attorney who knows the company and can be reached directly makes a real difference. Steady, reliable work.
— R. O., Small Business OwnerConsultations are by appointment. Send a brief note describing the matter and we will get back to you to schedule a first meeting.
By sending this request you agree to be contacted by the practice regarding your inquiry. Contact does not constitute an attorney-client relationship until a written engagement letter is signed.
